The following documents make up form 1, used for making a development application:

New versions of the following form 1 documents took effect on 2 March 2009:

• Part D
• Part E
• Part F
• Part G
• IDAS Assessment Checklist.

A four week transition period applied to any applications currently being prepared using the superseded forms. These applications are recognised in the approved form until the expiration of the transition period. The transition period was from 2 March 2009 to 29 March 2009 inclusive. Since 30 March, only the new version is recognised as the approved application form.

Changes in the forms relate to:

• Draft South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031 Regulatory Provisions
• Draft South East Queensland Koala State Planning Regulatory Provisions
• Far North Queensland Regional Plan 2009-2031 Regulatory Provisions
• environmentally relevant activities
• a Queensland heritage place
• a local heritage place
• State-controlled roads
• airport land.

In addition, a small number of minor changes have been included in the IDAS Assessment Checklist to clarify the questions. Appendix 1, which lists the referrals for building work assessable against the Building Act 1975, has also been updated.
