Departmental grants

If you receive funding from the Queensland Government, you need to acknowledge this support. Acknowledgement is required as a condition of a funding agreement.

The following guidelines have been developed to assist you in acknowledging the Queensland Government. All joint publicity is to be approved in advance by the department.

The table below lists the minimum acknowledgement correlating to funding amounts received from the Queensland Government through the department.

Less than $200,000 Include in media releases, on related websites and other materials related to the project. Include on annual reports, newsletters and any related project material. Invite the minister responsible to attend and speak. Determine whether a plaque is required. Minimum of one 400mm x 800mm (height x width) permanent external sign.
$200,000-$1 million Include in media releases, on related websites and other materials related to the project. Include on annual reports, websites, newsletters and in related advertisements. Invite the minister responsible to attend and speak. Determine whether a plaque is required. Minimum of one 500mm x 1000mm (height x width) permanent external sign displayed on building or free standing if there is no appropriate structure.
$1 million + Include in media releases, on related websites and other materials related to the project. Include on annual reports, newsletters, websites and in related advertisements. Invite the minister responsible to attend and speak. Determine whether a plaque is required. Minimum of one 900mm x 1800mm (height x width) permanent internal sign where appropriate. Minimum of one 900mm x 1800mm (height x width) external sign displayed on building or free standing if there is no appropriate structure.
