Caboolture West declared master plan area 2012The Caboolture West Master Planned Area ( The area is located adjacent to the urban footprint within the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009–2031 (SEQRP 2009–2031) and includes land to the east of the north branch of the Caboolture River, as well as south of the D’Aguilar Highway. Relationship to the South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009–2031Caboolture West is recognised in the SEQRP 2009–2031 as an Identified Growth Area (IGA), which may, in the long-term, accommodate significant growth in the Moreton Bay region. It is envisaged the area will incorporate a range of activities, particularly through residential and employment growth in the Moreton Bay Region. Previous planning for Caboolture WestThe Caboolture West area was previously considered for urban development in a draft strategic plan of the former Caboolture Shire Council in the mid-1980s. The area was also identified in the former South East Queensland Regional Plan 2005–2026 and draft South East Queensland Regional Plan 2009–2031 as an investigation area that may provide a significant resource for future residential, employment and enterprise purposes.
