Discussion paper: Management of dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs in Queensland |

The purpose of this paper is to stimulate discussion and feedback on key issues associated with the management of dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs in Queensland. Your views and ideas will assist the Queensland Government in considering policy and legislative amendments to resolve these issues and ensure community safety. The release of this paper demonstrates the department’s commitment to provide responsible and accountable government by reviewing the framework which applies to managing dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs in Queensland.
Discussion paper
The discussion paper ( 600 KB) invited submissions from the wider community and key stakeholders to consider the issues raised and comment on ways in which they may be resolved. The consultation period closed on 16 April 2012.
