Parks 4 People

Parks 4 People is an interactive website that helps you find out information about parks and public recreation areas in which to play, picnic or bushwalk anywhere in Queensland.

The Queensland Government recognises the importance of parks, particularly to the health and lifestyle of all Queenslanders. In fact, one of the Queensland Government’s Toward Q2 green targets is to protect 50% more land for nature conservation and public recreation by 2020.

Parks 4 People allows you to:

• explore local, favourite and destination parks using the interactive map—view park information, find out how to get there, access links to national parks, state forests, conservation parks and much more
• have your say on parks—share your views and knowledge by rating a park, making comments and adding information that is important to you
• access a gateway to recreation information—discover great places to get outdoors and enjoy the Queensland sunshine.
