Flooding causes significant impacts on Queensland’s communities and the economy. As our climate continues to change, flooding events are likely to become more frequent and more intense.

To improve Queensland’s resilience to changing flood conditions the department collaborated on an Inland Flooding Study with the former Department of Environment and Resource Management and the Local Government Association of Queensland.
